The Rain Project

In 2016, Harvest Point Church launched the RAIN Project. RAIN stands for “Reaching Another In Need”. It is a cattle income-generating Project whereby people donate funds to buy cows. The calves from that cow are then sold each year which provides ongoing income. To date, the RAIN Project has 21 cows and 8 calves running on a couple of local properties where agistment costs have been kindly donated. So far from funds generated by the Project, we’ve been able to bless many members of our community in such ways as:

· Supporting FOODBANK to feed people in need;

· Paying medical expenses for a single mum;

· Paying airfares for a man to access employment;

· Bought a wheelchair for an elderly man;

· Financially supported a local high school disengaged youth program;

· Paid expenses for our Harvest Care trailer;

· Run breakfast programs for students sitting exams at the high school.

Harvest Point Care Trailer

In 2017, Harvest Point Care decided to put LOVE into ACTION and reach out into the community to share God’s love by meeting practical needs. A maintenance Care Trailer was set up with very generously donated equipment to enable volunteers to do lawns and gardens for people in need. If you would like further information on this, please contact Amandaadmin@harvestpointinc.com
